Enjoy the highlights of Airlie Beach, beautiful scenic locations for amazing photos with the whitsunday waters as a back drop. Hear the history of the region and where it all started.

We will cruise past the bicentennial walkway and Airlie beach lagoon on our way south of Airlie Beach.

We head towards Shute Harbour into Conway National Park, the largest area of lowland tropical rainforest in Queensland outside Tropical North Queensland.

The Coral Beach walk is approximately a 2km round bush walk where you can spot the local bush turkeys, goannas, butterflies and plenty of birdlife amongst a variety of vegetation types including lowland rainforest, mangroves and open forest giving you beautiful glimpses of the Whitsunday islands. The walk is a gentle slope and easy for even little feet to manage.

Coral Beach – A deserted beach made up of  corals, pumice stones, pebbles and shells with a fringing reef just off the beach. Hear how this has evolved over 1000’s of years and about the largest reproductive system in the world right on our door step.

Get to know the history surrounding of the surround area. Learn about the oldest living culture in the world, the Australian Aboriginal. Where did they come from, how and when they got here, what they believed in, their bush tucker and medicine. Why they didn’t change anything in 70 thousand years and how they protected the future.

After the hike its time to revamp the energy. While your guide cooks up an Aussie BBQ, take a relaxing 45 minute bush walk along the coast fringe circuit through lowland rainforest and crosses a small tidal creek.

When you return your BBQ will be waiting for you. Enjoy award winning sausages and a refreshing salad with some fruit salad.

Bus departs for Airlie Beach at approximately 2pm
